Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu, check into a hotel, have some rest and a traditional dinner with the trekking crew.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu including UNESCO World Heritage Sites and various temples and a trek orientation.
Day 3: Drive west from Kathmandu to Syange or Jagat. Drive for 8-10 hours and enjoy the scenery on the way.
Day 4: Cross the Tal bridge and enter Manang district. Trek to a village named Dharapani from Syange for 5-6 hours.
Day 5: Trek toward the west from Dharapani to Chame for 5-6 hours again leading to the north side of Annapurna Conservation Area and enjoy the incredible views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.
Day 6: Follow the Marsyangdi river and trek through beautiful Manang valley toward Pisang, a small village.
Day 7: Trek from Pisang to the drier lands of Manang. On the way, enjoy the view of arid lands and observe the largest monastery of Manang-Barge Monastery. Trek for 6-7 hours.
Day 8: Take an acclimatization rest in Manang. Visit places like Bhojo Gompa, Gangapurna or monastery at Vraga.
Day 9: Pass through the charming villages and the beautiful meadows towards Yak Kharka, a small village. Trek for 3-4 hours to adjust to a high elevation.
Day 10: Trek for 3-4 hours to the small yet engaging village of Thorang Phedi, the base of Thorang La Pass.
Day 11: A big day! Trek to Thorang La Pass and descend to Muktinath within 7-8 hours of walk. Thorang La passes presenting the breathtaking views of a series of mountains and a wide spectrum of landscapes. Then descend to Muktinath, a religious place for both Hindus and Buddhists.
Day 12: Trek for 3-4 hours to the lower elevation of Jomsom village. On the way, visit some sacred temples and monasteries.
Day 13: fly back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu. At Kathmandu, have a farewell dinner and do some shopping as you like.
Day 14: Drive to airport 3 hours prior to your flight time.
