First Time in Bhutan Tour

Welcome to Bhutan, on arrival you will be greeted with respect by our guide and transfer you to Thimpu (Capitol of Bhutan). It takes about an hour drive. In the evening, you can stroll in Thimpu Town.Overnight at Hotel

On next morning, we will explore the sites in Thimphu including King’s Memorial Chorten (which was built in honor of late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck), School of Arts and Craft, Folk Heritage Museum, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Buddha Point, and Motithang Takin Preserve. Overnight at Hotel

After breakfast, we will enjoy scenic drive to Punakha. Then we will stop at Dochula pass to get spectacular views of the Himalayas. Soon then,  begin to drive and arrive at Metshina Village, which is indeed a surrounding surrounded with lovely people and walk rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang, the Divine Madman’s temple popularly considered to be a temple of fertility. Today,  we will drive back to Paro and stop at Dochula to visit the new Druk Wangyal Monastery, which is the only of its kind in the country. From the Dzong, we can walk down to the road head crossing a traditional wooden bridge. From here, we will be taken to Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and the most sacred shrine in the country. In the evening, you can stroll in Paro town. Overnight at Hotel

Today we will hike up to the Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery, the most famous pilgrim site, which clings to the rock at 3180m. According to the legend, it is believed that Guru Rimpoche, the 8th century Spiritual Master, flew to this location on the back of a tigress to meditate. We will get a chance to explore the monastery and hike back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel

Our Guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home or onward destination.  You will be returning lot of memories in the Land of Thunder Dragon.
