Overview
Kailash Mansarovar Retreats Tour – Mount Kailash is located western part of Tibet which is a sacred place for not just the Hindus, but for the Buddhists, Jains and Bons too. Hindu Followers believed that Mount Kailash is the abode of Lord Shiva. The place is an embodiment of Lord Buddha for Buddhist followers. According to Joins, their the first Jain saint, Adinath got his emancipation at Mt. Kailash.
Lake Mansarovar is considered to be the remains of the great Lake Tethys—the source of all creation. As per the holy Books, the Lord Buddha created this holy lake to meditate. The Sanskrit word Manasa means “Mind” whereas Sarovar means “Lake” which means that mind will be holy once you be in the lake. Hindu people believe that the A dip in lake wash all your sins from the last 7 births. This belief leads every year Hindus from across the world go to Mt. Kailash and Manasarovar lake once in their life. Once you dived into Lake, you are ready for the Mount Kailash Kora or Parikrama. If you do so all your sins will be erased but if you do it 108 times then you will gain Nirvana or Moksha or Salvation.

Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE KATHMANDU
On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport you will be met by our representative who will take you to the hotel.
Overnight at Park Village Resort.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Morning Meditation Session for an hour and Breakfast at the Hotel then proceeds of sightseeing tour covering Pashupatinath Temple (One of the holiest Shiva temples in the earth located 4 km east of Kathmandu at the bank of Bagmati River. Here you see many Shiva temples and meet many Hindu Sages) & Jal Narayan temple (Jal Narayan, locally known as Budhanilkantha, is open air temple of Lord Vishnu who is relining in the pond. This temple is situated below the Shivapuri hill at the northern end of Kathmandu valley). Overnight at Park Village Resort.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Kerung/ Kyirong, 6-7 hours.
Breakfast and drive to Rasuwa Gadhi (newly opened border of Nepal and China). It’s a mountain drive passing through paddy fields, several villages and river. After Immigration and customs formalities on both sides (Nepal & China) drive to Kerung, small town of China, The Meditation and Spiritual session will be in the evening. Overnight at guest house in Kerung
Day 4: Day for acclimatization in Kerung.
Meditation in the morning and Full day in Kerung for acclimatization purpose. Afternoon excursion to Kerung village. Overnight at guest house in Kerung
Day 5: Drive from Kerung to Dongba.
Meditation in the morning before breakfast and then drive to to Dongba. En route enjoy panorama of Mount Shishapangma (8021 meter) and other high Himalayan mountains. You pass through Pelkhu tso Lake (4600 meter), a cobalt blue lake and later crossing Brahmaputra river reach in Saga. From Saga further 100 km of drive is to Dongba. Overnight at guest house in Dongba
Day 6: Drive from Dongba to Mansarovar.
Today will be an amazing drive through unique Tibetan countryside that makes everybody joyful all the time. En route you cross Mayum La Pass (5200m). This is first day to see Mount Kailash and Mansarovar. Reaching Mansarovar you can have holy bath in the lake. Your transport also takes you to round the lake. Night halt will be at guest house of Chu Gompa which is in the shore of Mansarovar Lake. Overnight at guest house in Mansarovar
Day 7: Full day Exploration of Mansarovar Lake
Morning Meditation Session will be done in front of Lake and explore around the Lake in the afternoon. Overnight at Guest House in Mansarovar Lake.
Day 8: Drive from Mansarovar to Darchen.
Drive from Mansaroar Lake to Darchen, base camp of Mount Kailash, after lunch. Till that time you can do Puja (Worship), Havana, Meditation and also go for short Hiking to Chu Gompa (Ancient Buddhist Monastery nearby Mansarovar Lake). If you need a horse, we will assist you to find a horse for the Kora/Parikram for 3 days. Overnight at guest house in Darchen
Day 9: Trek from Darchen to Dirapuk. 1st day of Parikarma.
Morning drive to Tarboche where your parikram Starts. Here is small temple called Yamdwar by Hindus. Near to this temple you see great flagpole. It is said that here Buddha came with 500 disciples for their supernatural power. You continue walking passing through grassy plain populated by nomads. En route you can view of west face of Mount Kailash. Then you reach at Dirapuk from where you will have good view of the north face of Mount Kailash. You will have meditation and spiritual session in the evening. Overnight at guest house in Dirapuk
Day 10: Trek from Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk. 2nd day of Parikarma.
Today is little bit harder to walk because to go up all the way to Dolmala passes (5723 meter/18776 feet). It is highest point in all this trip and then way down. From this trail you can have view of back side of mountain and many prayer flags at highest point. Also pool of great compassion at side of route which is called Gauri Kund by Hindus. In Zuthulpuk a temple and shrine is built around Milarepa’s cave where Milarepa, one of the most widely known Tibetan Saints, took dark retreat few years. He printed his hand and feet on the rock. Meditation and Spiritual session in the evening. Overnight at guest house in Zuthulpuk
Day 11: Trek from Zuthulpuk to Darchen. Final day of Parikarma. Drive to Dongba.
Today, You walk through grassy plain area along the river. You need to walk about 4km from Zuthulpuk and our driver will be there to pick up you then drive back to Dongba through the same previous road. Overnight at guest house in Dongba
Day 12: Drive from Dongba to Kerung.
Driving is through same incoming road. Overnight at guest house in Kerung
Day 13: Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu.
Driving is through same incoming road. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 14: Rest day in Kathmandu.
Morning Meditation Session before breakfast and Massage, shopping in the afternoon. Overnight at Park Village Resort.
Day 15: Departure from Kathmandu.
Our tour officer transfer you to the Kathmandu International Airport in time for your flight and help you to get on board for your onward destinations
