Day 1: Arrive Paro to Thimphu
Welcome to Bhutan for your Photography Tour in Bhutan, on arrival you will be greeted with respect by our guide and transfer you to Thimpu (Capital of Bhutan), It takes about an hour drive. In the evening, you can stroll in Thimpu Town. Overnight at Hotel
Day 2 : Explore Thimphu
While having our breakfast, we will discuss about the guiding Principles of Photography. Then, we head out with guide to explore the capital town and then take drive north to the base of hiking trail to the quaint Cheri monastery. Day 3 : Phobjikha Valley
We will depart for the amazing drive to the valleys of bhutan and cross the fertile valley of Punakha. Then on entering into the valley of Wangdue Phodrang, there we get golden chance to take capture the wonderful moments out there. View of the high snow capped peaks and more specially, Mount Chomolhari will be magnificent. As we descend from the pass through the dwarf bamboo we reach Chendebji Chorten. Then we will spend night at Hotel
Day 4 : Punakha
After a sunrise shoot, we return to Punakha, we will hike through rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang temple located on a small hilltop. We will continue our drive towards Punakha Dzong (Fortress) situated between the two rivers Pho Chu and Mochu. This fortress is now used as the winter seat of the Je Khenpo (the Spiritual head of Bhutan). In the evening, we enjoy a wonderful dinner with review images and discuss the day’s photography. Day 5 : Explore Punakha
On day five we will explore more of Punakha, including the nunnery, the Nalanda Buddhist Institute and hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal temple. Overnight at Hotel
Day 6 : Punakha to Haa Valley
Today we drive westwards to the pristine and remote Haa valley, which was only recently opened to tourists. The valley is dotted with fields of millet, barley, and potatoes and full of ancient shrines. Haa Valley is the western most state in Bhutan. We will visit two famous monasteries, Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo, (Black Temple). Overnight at Hotel
Day 7 : Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
After breakfast, our driver will drop us off for a view of the spectacular and famous Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s lair). From here we’ll take the trail to the monastery which climbs through a beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. The route is picturesque, After returning to town. Overnight at Hotel
Day 8: Depart Paro
Our Guide will transfer you to airport for your flight back home or onward destination.
