First Mountain Flight to Kailash Mansarovar: Recently, a special flight called the Kailash–Mansarovar Darshan Flight made its debut, taking off from Nepalgunj, Nepal, with 38 Indian pilgrims on board. This unique flight offers a fast and very convenient journey to the sacred sites of Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake.
First Mountain Flight To Kailash Mansarovar flew at an altitude of 27,000 feet, giving passengers a stunning view of Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake, which are highly revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and followers of Tibet’s Bonpa faith.
In the past, high costs and strict visa rules made the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra difficult for pilgrims. However, with the launch of the Kailash–Mansarovar Darshan Flight from Nepalgunj, things have changed for the better. This flight not only makes the pilgrimage more accessible but also more efficient and affordable.
The flight, managed by the Siddhartha Business Group, completed the trip in just about one and a half hours, according to Keshav Neupane, regional director of the Siddhartha Business Group. Travelers from various Indian cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh were on board, enjoying the convenience and safety of this new mode of travel.
According to Keshav Neupane, the flight to Mount Kailash and Mansarovar is now cheap, quick, reliable, and safe, making it a popular choice for pilgrims. More chartered flights are in the works to meet the increasing demand for visits to these sacred places.
Mani Lamichhane from the Nepal Tourism Board is optimistic about the impact of this initiative on tourism. With Nepalgunj’s location close to Lucknow in India, access to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar has become much easier, saving pilgrims lots of time and effort.
This new flight allows tourists to experience the divine beauty of Mount Kailash within just 1.5 hours, without the need for long journeys. By providing a quick and convenient way to visit Kailash Mansarovar, the Kailash–Mansarovar Darshan Flight is breaking barriers and opening up exciting opportunities for spiritual journeys and cultural exchanges between India and Nepal.
