Phulchoki 3
Phulchoki is one of the beautiful hiking in terms of vegetation. It is a natural botanical garden 14km away from the Kathmandu valley. It is the highest hill that surrounds Kathmandu. NamoBuddha 3

Lakuri Bhanjyang is a newly discovered hiking destinations around the valley for which you will need strong legs to carry you up to an elevation gain of 2,194m to reach at the top of the Bhanjyang (Hill). The cooperative local people and a remarkable scenic spot for sunrise and a breathtaking view of Himalayan ranges in a rural environment is a reward. Lakuri Bhanjyang is one of the notable places for snowfall during extreme winter. Hiking here is affordable and it is worth the visit.


The journey to Nagarkot can be begun by taking a local bus or Private car from Kathmandu to the local town Sankhu. The hike starts from Sankhu .The uphill trek through scattered villages, forests and farmlands lasting for around four hours will lead you to the Nagarkot in the early afternoon. Further hiking can be done from Nagarkot to changunarayan through a woody ridgeline with an excellent view of the mountain. Nagarkot hiking offers the exotic sensation of being close to nature, the spectacular view of mountain scenery along with the charming lifestyle and culture of villages of Kathmandu Valley. Dhampus is a small Gurung village located below the Annapurna range. The beauty of this traditional settlement is indescribable. Travelers can decide whether they want to walk up to and from Dhampus or take a jeep (or combined). The best thing about this village is that it is not far away from Pokhara and at the same time it lets you experience the traditional way of living under the Himalayas.


Kakani is a hill station and is located on northern side of Kathmandu.  The spot is peaceful and offers scenery that covers a vast range of peaks from Ganesh Himal to the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
