Kathmandu, the capital city, is a center point of ancient temples, bustling markets, and rich cultural history. The journey continues to the Manakamana Temple, known for fulfilling devotees’ wishes, accessible by an impressive cable car-ride.
The yatra then heads to Muktinath, a very sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists. It is situated in the Himalayas and offers breathtaking views and a great level of tranquility.

Manakamana temple is located in the Gorkha district of Nepal. It is a sacred hilltop destination revered by Hindus and Buddhists. The Manakamana Temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Bhagwati, and pilgrims flock here to offer prayers and seek blessings for prosperity and happiness. The word “Manakamana” translates to “wishes fulfillment,”. It is believed that visiting the temple here can fulfill one’s wishes.
To reach the temple, visitors need to have a thrilling cable car ride that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The clam ambiance and spiritual significance of Manakamana make it a must-visit destination for those looking for spiritual solace in the middle of the beauty of Nepal’s landscape.
Muktinath is a special place in Nepal that people visit for religious reasons. It is also up high in the mountains, about 3,710 meters above sea level. There is a temple there called Sri Muktinath, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The temple has golden roofs and 108 water taps nearby. People believe that taking a bath in these taps can wash away their sins and bring them closer to liberation. Many pilgrims come here to pray and take a dip in the holy water. It is a peaceful place surrounded by beautiful mountains, attracting people who want to find peace and spirituality.

On first day, when you arrive at the airport in Kathmandu, someone will meet you there. They will take you to your hotel where you will stay. On Day 2 of your trip in Kathmandu, you will get to see some amazing places in the city. First, you will visit Swoyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. It is a big temple on a hill where you can see a lot of monkeys and also enjoy a wonderful and beautiful view of the city. After that, you will go to Patan, another city near Kathmandu. There, you can explore ancient temples and see beautiful art. You can also visit the UNESCO site Patan Durbar Square. Next, you will visit Boudhanath, which is a huge stupa surrounded by colorful prayer flags. It is a peaceful place where you can walk around and feel calm. Finally, you’ll go to Pashupatinath, a famous Hindu temple. You can see holy men, called Sadhus, and watch the rituals by the river. It will be a day full of exciting sights and experiences!
On the third day, you will leave Kathmandu and go on a drive to Kurintar. It will take about 3 to 4 hours to reach there. During the drive, you will see beautiful views of the countryside and maybe even some mountains in the distance (if the weather is clear).
Kurintar is a small town situated in the hills. It is known for its peaceful atmosphere. When you arrive, you can relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings. It will be a pleasant journey as you leave the city behind and enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal.
Thereafter, you will take cable car service to reach to the temple. It is 10-12 minutes cable car ride from Kurintar to Manakamana. Then you will visit Manakamana, a special temple on a hill in Nepal. Manakamana is a temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, who is believed to grant wishes. Inside the temple, you can pray and feel the peaceful atmosphere.
Afterward, you can explore the area and maybe buy some souvenirs. It’s a day filled with spirituality and stunning scenery, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Nepal’s culture and beauty.
On Day 4, you will start your day by driving from Manakamana to Pokhara. The drive will take about 3 hours, and along the way, you will pass through beautiful landscapes and charming villages.
Pokhara is a beautiful city situated beside a serene lake, surrounded by dense green hills. It is famous for its stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range and the tranquil atmosphere. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you can explore the lakeside area, take a boat ride on the lake, or simply relax and enjoy the overall beauty of the place. It will be a delightful journey filled with breathtaking sights and memorable experiences.
On Day 5 of your journey, you will start by taking a short flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, which only takes about 20 minutes. Jomsom is a small town located in the Mustang region of Nepal. From there, you’ll begin your trek to Muktinath.
The trek to Muktinath is a beautiful adventure in itself. You will pass through the Himalayan landscape. As you walk, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful mountains, dense valleys, and clear skies. The journey offers breathtaking views at every turn, making it an unforgettable experience.
After trekking for a few hours, you will reach Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Muktinath is famous for its ancient temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple holds a marvel of architecture. It has intricately carved stone walls and pagoda-style roofs.
One of the main features of Muktinath is its 108 water spouts, which are believed to have holy water flowing from them. .
After exploring the temple and taking in the beauty of Muktinath, you’ll have the opportunity to rest then continuing your trek and head back to Jomsom. It’s a day filled with adventure, spirituality, and breathtaking views, leaving you with memories for life.
On Day 6, you will wrap up your adventure in Jomsom and head back to Pokhara. You will take a short flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, which offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the surrounding landscape.
Once you arrive in Pokhara, you can take some time to relax. You can explore plenty of attractions such as lakes, temples, and viewpoints. You can spend the rest of the day leisurely strolling around the lakeside area or indulging in some delicious Nepali cuisine.
On Day 7, you will have the opportunity to explore the charming city of Pokhara. There are many exciting sights to see and activities to enjoy in this beautiful city nestled in the lap of the Himalayas.
You can start your day by visiting the serene Phewa Lake, where you can take a boat ride or simply relax by the lakeside and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
After that, you can visit the World Peace Pagoda, a peaceful monument that offers panoramic views of Pokhara and the Annapurna range. You can also explore the fascinating International Mountain Museum, which showcases the rich history and culture of the Himalayas.
In the evening, you can stroll around the lively Lakeside area, filled with restaurants, cafes, and shops, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. It will be a day filled with exploration, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences in Pokhara.
